Jim Green has worked at the firm since 2011. For more than 25 years, he has represented labor unions in collective bargaining, labor arbitration and in hearings before State and National Labor Boards. In addition he represents individuals in claims for Workers’ Compensation, Social Security, and Disability Insurance and other benefits. He served as the General Counsel for Teamsters Local 726 from 1994–2009, negotiating contracts and representing union employees and previously worked at the labor firm of Cotton, Watt, Jones & King. Jim handles a large volume of workers’ compensation, social security and benefits cases. He represents unions and union members in labor negotiations, arbitration, unfair labor practice and dismissal cases.

Jim has deep roots in the labor movement prior to practicing law. He began his career organizing child care workers in Chicago, then worked as a staff the director of a local union, managed a Health, Welfare and Pension fund for the Midwest Region for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

He is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, the National Oganization of Social Security Representatives and the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers’ Association and the AFL-CIO Lawyer’s Committee.

Jim graduated with distinction from the John Marshall Law School.
